Chemist and PhD in chemistry with more than 25 years of experience. During that time I have worked as a researcher at the Faculty of Science and at the Technological Research Center of the University of A Coruña, where I was its director for 12 years, to later join the company Hijos de Rivera, where I work as R&D manager.

I have directed 5 doctoral theses, participated in more than 60 scientific publications and more than 50 research projects in collaboration with about a hundred companies.

I have also been founder 10 years ago of the biotechnology startup Glecex and I am currently president of Bioga, the biotechnology cluster of Galicia.
