François Heroufosse is a BioEngineer in Chemistry graduated from the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. He spent 29 years in the food industry in diverse functions, first as R&D Manager and then as General Manager. He has been active in the Puratos group on bakery ingredients and then at Beneo Orafti, working on prebiotic fibers inulin and FOS. Then he took the lead of Wagralim innovation cluster in Belgium, a network of more than 250 food companies and universities dedicated to food innovation. In 2023, he joined THT as General Manager where he leads the different teams preparing pro- and postbiotics to respond todays’ and tomorrows’ needs on the dietary supplement and food markets.
