Why is it so crucial to innovate in the area of plant-based protein products?
The world’s population is increasing and according to estimates, we can expect 9 billion people on earth in 2050. Therefore, we have to be able to provide food and especially proteins to everyone. Due to environmental concerns, animal based proteins cannot be our only option. In this global context, plant-based proteins are a sustainable alternative to respond to this demand.
